Using Windows FTP server and mapping a FTP server to a local drive

1 Start Windows FTP server

Control Panel -> Administration Tools -> Computer Management -> Services and Applications -> Internet Information Service -> FTP Sites

2 Create Virtual Directory for FTP site

3 Create new user account for remote access

Computer Management -> Local users and groups -> Users. In the right panel, right click mouse. In the popup menu, choose new user. After a user account is created, change its member-of property. Set the user group to remote desktop user.

Once FTP srever is running, you probably want to map it to a drive in another computer. The purpose an fullfiled by the Novell Netdrive program.
